Shannon Staloch LM, CPM, IBCLC

Shannon is a Licensed Midwife, and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. From Senegal to San Francisco, Shannon has provided midwifery care to a spectacular array of women in varied settings and demographics. She received her midwifery degree from the National Midwifery Institute and her license from the California Medical Board in 2008. She has attended over 800 births and believes midwifery care is the gold standard of maternity care. Being a midwife has been one of her life’s greatest privilege.

Tara Compehos - Midwife

Tara Mariquita Makua Compehos is a Certified Professional Midwife and proud to carry the lineage of legendary traditional midwife Medrakanoeonapu. Born at home herself, Tara went on to have her two children at home. Additional education includes a BFA from New York University, an internship with Mercy in Action in the Philippines and a Midwifery Arts degree from The Matrona.

Tara served as the Vice Chair of The Hawaii State Homebirth Task Force. As the co-founder and Lead Project Collaborator at SHINE Sisterhood Initiative, Tara specializes in development and implementation of innovative, grassroots community based programs.

Tara works intimately with plant medicine in all of her practices. She offers midwifery, lomilomi massage, and childbirth education online and in person.
